Sarah explains that she enjoys taking early morning walks through the streets of New York and documenting the graffiti before it's washed away or covered by the sanitization department or other artists' tags. “So far I have about 20 images that I photographed in NYC, mostly on the Lower East Side,” she says. “Each image tells a story, is edgy, and most of them are no longer where they were photographed.”
The NYC Graffiti collection also includes other noteworthy pieces, such as Money Eyes Man, which explores the complex relationship between wealth and time, and Blue Moon Girl, a celebration of defiance and courage that Sarah found on the side of a large newspaper dispenser.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in the New York metropolitan area, Sarah draws inspiration from her grandfather - a native of County Cork, Ireland, who instilled in her a love for traditional Irish music - and her parents, whose extensive jazz record collection gave her an appreciation of the art form. She is currently working on an independent documentary about jazz while growing her arty T-shirt collection as a way to blend her passions for music and visual art.
