Co-founded by Colin Stewart, business development expert, and Mark Fryer, conceptual artist and 3D industrial designer, the Berkshire-based Xpo Team was forced to pivot their creative design and manufacturing business when a moratorium was placed on exhibitions and tradeshows, subsequently halting the company’s core revenue stream. By focusing resources on the launch of their retail and showroom graphic installation services, Xpo Team is helping both their employees and their clients find opportunity within adversity.
Established in 2009, the lean yet vastly experienced Xpo Team carries out their conceptualization, design and manufacturing process in a large industrial space housed within what’s known as The Old Cowshed at Ledger Farm in Fifield.
All Xpo Team projects are built in-house to spec while project managers liaise with clients to ensure the seamless translation of brand messaging into immersive, high tech stands and spaces.
Completed projects are then disassembled and shipped to their destinations under the care of Xpo Team employees who help rebuild the structures on location.
A priority is placed on environmentally responsible practices so that what’s produced can be reused and recycled.
Prior to the shutdown of expos and tradeshows, Xpo Team was running at full speed designing and manufacturing brand-aligned stands and spaces featuring high resolution, multi-coloured, multi-dimensional LED screens and panels; LED wall video content; state of the art graphics and print production; and staging elements ranging from sleek and modern to thematic and dramatic.
The recently launched retail and showroom installations arm of their business can be considered a scaled down version of what Xpo Team was accustomed to producing for an array of companies in industries such as information technology, broadcasting, manufacturing, sports, gaming, and more.
