Titan Building and Roofing is making a difference in their community and having a business with heart is something to be proud of. “Ever since I was young I always wanted to go back to the place I grew up in and do something for the kids there.” Says Sergio Perez owner of Titan Building and Roofing.
Small businesses can be a great contributor even if they aren’t able to bring in the million-dollar donations like a big corporation. “We’re trying to set an example for others. I mean it’s what we can do for now” Says Sergio. Any amount of help a company is able to raise or gift can make an impact.
Speaking with Sergio and his father there's a strong sense of family. During a discussion countless stories of humble origins and truly inspiring accounts of how when growing up Sergio would observe the kindness and generosity of his father even when they didn’t seem to have much themselves.
“I remember my dad getting off after working two jobs when most people would’ve been so exhausted and coming to pick me up to help him fix up a church or help a friend,” says Sergio.
"To us it’s just a part of who we are."
To this day Sergio and his dad are still finding ways to give back whether it's gifting sweatshirts to kids in need for the winter and the local schools he used to attend, volunteering services in the community, or just helping out when there is someone in need.
Titan Building and Roofing is a local business with a heart. Giving back to the community is just one way they are showing that. They also give free estimates, take weekend and emergency repair calls. “We want our customers and community to know we are there for them,” says Sergio.
“We are seeing more businesses getting involved and we are so grateful for the support in our local community in Idaho. Together we can make a difference,” says Sergio. It is so easy to forget that anyone can make a difference no matter the size or scope of it. Getting involved is the first step.
