Stop Binge Eating Today: EFT Online Classes For Healthier Food Relationship

Our relationship with food is one of the most important connections we build. How and what you eat reflect on how you feel and see yourself. A toxic relationship with food can lead to a negative self-image, which can cause us to binge eat to “smother” our feelings, which only worsens our relationship. It’s a vicious cycle, but one that you can conquer with proper guidance.

Kat Pratt of Kat Pratt Coaching offers live emotional freedom technique (EFT) classes for women over 40 who suffer from a toxic relationship with food. These classes are held four times a year.

The intensive workshops teach you how to improve your relationship with food and develop healthier eating habits. Though available for anyone, the program is particularly structured for women over 40 who eat when they’re not hungry or eat in response to emotions such as disappointment, anger, stress, nervousness, excitement, or boredom.

Kat Pratt created the classes to remove the burden that so many women face regarding their self-image and their relationship with food. According to recent studies, approximately 20 million American women will develop at least one type of eating disorder at some point in their lives. In fact, emerging studies, including a 2021 report published in the Journal of Eating Disorders, state that binge eating among older women has increased in the last few years.

But why? Scientists are still studying why women, especially those over 40, are more at risk of binge eating than any other age group.

Developing a healthier relationship with food requires consistent practice and focus on the goal of a happier mindset while eating. No food should be considered “off-limits” based on the sole reasoning of guilt and/or self-deprecation. You need to see food as a way for you to improve your health and for enjoyment, too! The key here is balance.

Kat guides you to take charge of your emotions and learn to love yourself. As an experienced life coach focused on EFT, she helps you identify the painful problems in your life, create clear life goals, and then provide strategies and skills to overcome these obstacles.

That said, Kat is also highly experienced in other different holistic healing modalities. She does not limit her classes to EFT and talks about various means students can develop a healthier relationship with food.

With the new classes, she intends to help more older women find peace within themselves.

Kat is based in Salem, Oregon but works with clients all around the world. Those still unsure about the classes can schedule a free 30-minute clarity call.

Kat writes, "Picture a life where you unconditionally love every part of yourself, where you can let go of your greatest insecurities, and quiet the voice that says you’re not smart enough, thin enough, capable enough. What amazing things could you accomplish then?"
