Pathways United and Dr. Alice Prince have announced the Summer Youth Jobs Program service. The buzz is already starting to circulate within the Youth, workforce, and education industry. Pathways United and Dr. Alice Prince have also released three things the community can expect from the program.
The mission of Pathways United is to create future leaders that are healthy, happy, and whole through education and empowerment. We seek to create impactful change and end generational curses that plague our youth.
Pathways United is a young innovative agency that has been in existence for two years. The first year the organization was awarded a federal contract with the Department of Energy, the Archdiocese, and multiple contracts from the private industry. The CEO and president have over fifteen years of experience and hold a doctorate in the related field and post-master certification.
Pathways United, LLC has a tremendous amount of experience, passion, and evidence-based knowledge. The knowledge and experience expand to youth employment, cultural competency, building customized curriculum, and delivering dynamic workshops to young people. The staff has a unique understanding and experience working with young people and delivering power-packed workshops to keep the young person's interest and ensure the information is relevant.
Pathways United has over fifteen years of practice providing youth employment programs, resources, and guidance to organizations regarding a wide range of youth workforce programs, including work readiness and growth industries. The training braids and integrates specific industry information about career and job search techniques, values clarification and personal development, resumes and job applications, interview techniques including appropriate attire for interviews, appropriate attire for various occupations, and appropriate follow-up services. The training also encompasses “non-technical” skills such as communication and conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, self-direction, personal qualities, work ethics, tie management, and workplace etiquette. Finally, the organization is experienced in developing surveys and workshop assessments to enhance the youth summer program and initiatives.
