The pop-up shows are free to visit, and will feature works from students across Northern California. CSU Sacramento, Humboldt Polytechnic College, CSU San Francisco, California College of the Arts, UC Santa Cruz, CSU Chico, CSU San Jose State University, and many other schools will be in attendance showing off their recent works. This is a rare opportunity to see dozens of exhibitions in one day! They will be open for viewing from 10am to 9pm on Friday, April 12 and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, April 13.

The featured artists this year, who will present both lectures and demonstrations include Ah Leon, Sean Henry, Chris Theiss, Lisa Clague, Lisa Reinertson, and Morel Doucet. All of these artists have developed unique artistic languages that they are eager to share with the participants at CCACA. This educational ceramics conference is unlike any other, and its interactive quality sets it apart from the rest.

Make sure to also visit the John Natsoulas Gallery to see the annual 30 Ceramic Sculptors exhibition. Arthur González’s Ego Diaries will also be on view, featuring his powerful works that reinvent his disappointments in rejection. Both exhibitions will be open from April 10 to May 11, 2024.
