Advanced Nutrition Master Certification From Malaysian Public Health Organization Announced

Kuala Lumpur nutrition & aging organization SAHAMM launched the 2nd module of its Nutritional Certification & Advanced Course in collaboration with the Australian College of Medical Nutrition. The course at The Royale Chulan Damansara Hotel will be held from the 22nd through the 24th June.

Kuala Lumpur nutrition & aging organization SAHAMM (Society for Advancement of Hormones and Healthy Aging Medicine Malaysia) announced the second module of its Nutritional Certification & Advanced Course. The two-day course is scheduled for 22nd through the 24th of June, 2018 at Petaling Jaya.

The 2nd module of the SAHAMM course is expected to be conducted at The Royale Chulan Damansara Hotel in Petaling Jaya. The course is part of a 6-module training and certification program that awards participants Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. CPD points are recognized by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and represent the advancement of professional knowledge and skill. The program will be conducted in association with Australian College of Medical Nutrition.

The SAHAMM certification is part of two 6-module programs - The Certification and Masters Program in Nutritional Medicine and The Nutritional Certification Advanced Program. Training courses will feature lectures by an elite panel of medical faculty and practitioners including Datuk Dr. Selvam Rengasamy, Dr. Karel Hromek, Dr. Mark Westaway, Dr. Baljit Singh Kaulsay, and Dr. Marcus Hewitson.

The focus of the Kuala Lumpur certification and advanced course is to help participants improve their understanding of aging and nutrition, glucose regulation physiology, the effect of nutrition on cardiovascular health, diabetes, allergies, and metabolic syndrome, as well as nutrition-based clinical protocols for enhanced health.

Candidates who have passed the Certification Examination and have attended 4 out of 6 modules will be eligible to attend the examination for a Masters In Nutritional Medicine.
