With The Leadville Trail 100 Race, Complete The Race to $100K Begins With Craig Bachrodt

On August 20th, the Ocala businessman ran the 100-mile race across challenging Rocky Mountain terrain, testing his limits to celebrate moms everywhere!

Not only that, but he’ll match every donation up to $100,000! So, every dollar counts!

The race participant braved wild forest trails and dirt roads, scaling elevations from 9,200 to 12,620 feet! He ran in memory of his mom who passed away in November of last year.

When you donate, you can also make a tribute to your own mom. Or, dedicate your contribution to a woman who has made an impact in your life!

The funds raised will go to 5 fantastic charities: the Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation, Lifetime Foundation, Go Campaign, Save the Children, and Smile Train. The selected charities support the needs of local Leadville and Lake County communities and the lives of children globally. You can choose which one you want to support, and your payment goes directly to them!

Once you donate, leave a dedication to your mom in Tribute Corner! As Run 100 for Mom(s) founder and racer Craig Bachrodt explains: Sharing stories of loved ones ensures that their inspiration and legacies live on and builds connections with others, helping us all to live that bit bigger!

The Leadville Trail 100 began in 1983 and covers 100 miles of rugged terrain. The circuit passes from Leadville through Sugarloaf Pass, Mount Elbert, Twin Lakes, Hope Pass, and Winfield.

Less than half of all participants (245/800) finished the challenging race within the 30-hour time limit. However, Craig Bachrodt finished the race in 29 hours, 3 minutes, and 32 seconds!

His story has been featured in Ocala Style Magazine and on page B2 of the Ocala Gazette. For more go to https://www.ocalagazette.com/ocala-gazette-july-15-july-21-2022

Craig Bachrodt was introduced to sport and fitness as a child by his inspirational mom Sarah Bachrodt - a keen athlete and notable abstract artist. He accompanied her on his first run as a young teenager and went on to participate in track and cross-country teams throughout his education. Craig has continued to run regularly alongside his career in business management. He is the proprietor of Palm Chevrolet in Ocala, following his family’s tradition in the auto dealership trade.

One donor wrote: “I’m donating in tribute to my mom - an amazing mother and grandmother. I would not be where I am today without her motivation, prayers, love, and sacrifices made over the years.”

They do everything for us! How far will you go for mom?!
