Every unit of the new product can cover up to 3,000 square feet of space, providing your school with an air filtration solution that you can easily implement during the pandemic.

Safe Air For Schools points out that in most schools operating today, infection control was not seen as a priority when their HVAC systems were designed and installed. The company provides these facilities a way to continue using their existing ventilation systems while reducing the amount of pathogens in the air.

Aerosols that contain impurities can stay in the air for hours, making them one of the most common transmitters of disease-causing viruses. In addition, poor air quality is known to either cause or worsen a wide variety of illnesses.

Equipped with a disposable four-layer filter, the system works by removing harmful bacteria, viruses, and pollutants from their air. It also has a HEPA filtration feature that is capable of eliminating other particulates.

You may rest assured, however, that the units will not cause a disturbance during classes, and they emit only 33dB of noise.

The filtration system also features a compact and lightweight design, making it easy to maneuver it or move it entirely to a new location. The plug-and-play device uses standard 110V power and has received the necessary certifications from ETL and Energy Star.

Through their products, Safe Air For Schools helps supplement school’s safety measures with increased levels of fresh air in their classrooms. Their mission is to contribute toward building safer and healthier learning environments for both students and the schools’ staff.

As a spokesperson for the company states, “During the pandemic, the best way to protect ourselves, our children, and our schools is with evidence-based information. Filtration in building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems can play a role in a school’s overall risk mitigation approach, but is not generally regarded as a solution by itself.”
