In March 2020, 70 percent of DHD’s business came to a screeching halt due to the global pandemic. The company’s ability to innovate and adapt allowed DHD to not only survive, but thrive. DHD was selected as the winner of the 2021 Supplier of the Year Award.
The Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council (DFW MSDC) recognized DHD Films as a winner of its 2021 Supplier of the Year Awards®, one of only four companies honored annually for their operational excellence and impact to the community.
The prestigious award highlighted DHD Films’ unparalleled growth and success in delivering innovative and impactful solutions to its clients and partners in the midst of a global pandemic. Winners were selected from a record number of nominations and Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) judged in four key categories: strategic planning, employee development, customer service and community involvement.
“These MBEs provide a powerful example of what’s possible in our free enterprise system. Day in and day out, these companies exemplify the strong American values of hard work, innovation, persistence, and entrepreneurship. The Council is proud to recognize these tremendous small businesses for all of their achievements,” said Margo J. Posey, President & CEO of DFW MSDC. “These Supplier of the Year Award winners have worked hard, taken risks, and achieved success, helping strengthen their communities and local economies.”

“It’s an honor to have been nominated and a blessing to have won,” said Hussain Manjee, Chief Success Officer of DHD Films. “The credit goes to our amazing team of storytellers and our clients who entrust us to tell their brands’ stories for audiences worldwide. Receiving this award is proof that you can put people first and still have a healthy bottom line," Manjee added.
