Westlake Hills TX patients have responded very positively to the transition at Westlake Hills Dental Arts. Dr Rebecca Long (Becky) is the new owner. For the previous 27 years Dr. Richard Jones owned this practice which doubles as an art gallery because he is not only a well known local dentist, but artist as well.

Becky has a particular passion and expertise for dental veneers. She’ll continue the reputation of the practice as a high end cosmetic dentist and step into Dr Jones’ shoes via extensive continuing education, and keeping up to date with all the latest technologies and treatments.

She adds, ‘it's gonna be hard to say goodbye to the doctor and his wife who worked at the practice because they're like family already. The locals have embraced the new team, it’s comforting to know that the community just loves the staff and everyone really feels at home here’.

As well as chipped, broken or cracked teeth, dental veneers can help with brightening your smile, discolored teeth, irregularly shaped teeth, gaps between teeth, tooth surface wear, and misaligned teeth.

Dr. Long loves working with porcelain veneers because they allow ‘a little to go a long way’. She says ‘the most pleasurable thing about dentistry is being able to, for example, just fix a couple of small chips and then re-contour and then see how those little conservative things make a big difference’.

Dental veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells that are attached to the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. They’re often made from porcelain or resin-composite materials and are permanently bonded to your teeth.

Porcelain veneers can be used to treat a number of different cosmetic concerns, including chipped, broken, discolored, or smaller-than-average teeth.

Some people may only get one veneer in the case of a broken or chipped tooth, but many get between six to eight veneers in order to create an even, symmetrical smile.

Westlake Hills Dental Arts has over 40 Google Reviews with one recent patient saying "Amazing & friendly staff, everyone is incredibly professional and kind. Awesome atmosphere, feels like you’re getting your teeth cleaned in the comfort of your own home. 10/10"
