Are you moving to the big city, or even just considering it?

It's a big change - and it's sure to affect most areas of your life... but how?

Check out this free guide from Movers.com to find out what their team thinks the biggest benefits of living in a big city are, and maybe you'll find something new and exciting.

When you're ready to make the move, just don't forget - Movers.com can make it easy, without costing you an extra penny. In fact, they'll almost certainly help you to save money, by making it easy to find the best local movers, with the best rates - but we'll talk about that more later.

First, I want to dive headfirst into this new guide on Big City Living, what the benefits are, why they matter, and how to make the most of them... but if you just want to know the part about moving companies, I guess you could skip straight to the link at the bottom of this page.

Obviously, there are many reasons to move to a large city, but the guide focuses on several key areas: entertainment, diversity, work, and health. This isn't to say that small-town living doesn't also have benefits, but I for one have a clear preference for large cities, because they're an adventure waiting to happen.

Let's start with entertainment, where there are three benefits in particular. For example, if you're into sports - what's better than living in a city with its own home team? You're also going to get bigger crowds, bigger stadiums, and more adrenaline pumping in one place than you can shake a stick at.

Even if you don't like sports though, the big city definitely has you covered for entertainment, because they have some of everything. Do you like movies, the theater, racing, arcades, figure skating, or Renaissance fairs? I know that's a crazy list, right? But a big city will have a little bit of everything, and that means there's truly something for everyone.

In fact, there's so much variety that you might think we've moved on to our second topic, diversity. Every day can be a whole new adventure, with a whole new culture, in a big enough city. You've got an enormously wide range of options when it comes to food, entertainment, social engagements, and even career opportunities. It's the greatest way to explore cultures from all around the world, practically in your own backyard.

Or maybe you're moving because of work, that's pretty common. In the big city, you'll definitely have options - and with so many other entrepreneurs around, it's an amazing place for building a network. Whether you're just looking for a regular paycheck, a whole new career, or a place to expand - the big city has room for you.

We also mentioned health, and I don't want to pressure anyone here but this is a solid fact - the big city simply has better healthcare. It has the best hospitals, doctors, equipment, and specialists, so if healthcare is a primary concern for you, this is a no-brainer.

I could go on and on, the guide covers everything, but when I started writing about transportation I remembered - you can just read it yourself. I don't need to copy it all out for you, if you want to read the full, free guide, just click here.
