Actually, worst-case Ontario is that you may have to spend one week in Ontario for your training... but that's unlikely because they have a school so near to Regina, you could probably hit it with a thrown rock (but please don't, they don't like that.)

With this new, optimized Basic training program, you can learn at your own pace, from your own home, for the majority of your classwork. This flexible learning style allows you to learn at your own convenience, and to finish the course faster or slower according to your personal schedule.
It also means you won't have to quit your day job or hire a babysitter - at least until the end of the course. See, it's not 100% online, that would be silly - you need real, hands-on experience as well.
That's why each student will still be required to spend at least one week receiving practical instruction at a Dermysk Academy - and why it's so important that there's one nearby, and not just in Ontario.
With this Basic training, you'll be certified to perform up to a dozen popular MedSpa techniques, either working from a local clinic or from your own house.
Now obviously, there are more than a dozen techniques, and more than you can learn in that short time. So, while this course does not include all the MedSpa techniques taught at the Dermysk Academy, as a graduate, you can return at any time to learn more complex techniques, using the Advanced class.
What if that's too slow, and you need all the knowledge, all the skills, and all the certifications, right now?
Well, first, calm down a bit - it's going to take at least a few months, no matter which option you choose, but there is a faster way.
The Dermysk Academy also offers a Master-level training course, which although it has no prerequisites, is only available to certain highly dedicated students. This is because the Master-level training includes all of the modules from the Basic and Advanced courses, as well as exclusive training not found elsewhere.
You won't hear much about their Master-level course usually, because it's pretty intense. If you're an intense person though, maybe it's just what you need. As an added bonus, graduates will earn a Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate - and that's surprisingly rare, even in the industry.
Let's back up a minute though, assuming that like most people, you're going to start with the Basic course, let's talk about it.
In the Basic training, you will become experienced and certified with the popular procedures you'd expect, like IPL hair removal, professional acne treatments, fractional ablation, and micro-blading. There's more, but it's a long list - if you want to see the full thing, just visit their website.
If that's not enough, or if you want to learn more later - just take the Advanced course. It covers fun but complex techniques, like Body Sculpting, stem cell treatments, and laser gynecology.
Of course, it's not all about the procedures, each course also provides instruction on the history and current status of the MedSpa industry, the legal requirements, and important hygiene and safety strategies you need to know when working with the public.
You can also learn individualized business strategies that you can apply at a clinic or your own home business, and how to deal with troublesome clients.
