Fast Cool Sculpting Training For High School Grads | Regina Top Career Options

Jun 29, 2023

Did you know that you only need a high school diploma to become a Cool Sculpting technician? Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (306-559-2410) can get you fully trained and certified in only a few months, for a whole new, exciting career in medical aesthetics.

In Saskatchewan, when someone says words like "Cool Sculpting," most people are likely to think of ice sculptures and snowmen - because that's just the way we're wired.

That's not what we're talking about here though - because this type of sculpting is way cooler, both in temperature and effect.

In case you're not familiar with it, let me explain quickly - Cool Sculpting is a non-invasive, non-surgical technique that uses nothing but cold temperatures to help remove unwanted body fat, in selected areas.

So, sculpting, with cool - that's cool. Cool cool cool.

Here's what makes it cooler than being cool (Ice cold!) - you can get fully trained, certified, and experienced in this technique, in just a few months, even if you already have a job, just graduated high school, or have a family at home to watch.

It's all thanks to a new course structure at the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, that makes it way easier to complete your training in a wide range of Medspa techniques, while still allowing you to do most of your learning at home, and at your own convenience.

I'll tell you all about how it works, but if you want to get the straight facts, right from the source - I understand. All the details are available at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

So how do they do it? How do they get you certified in complex medical aesthetic procedures, without having to quit your current job, or while you're learning in your spare time?

Well, it's the obvious solution, applied to a non-obvious problem - they let you do your learning online. I know I know - you can't get certified in this stuff online, that's crazy talk, right?

Yes, yes it is - and you're right. That's what makes it so brilliant though, they've broken each of their courses into two parts, an online portion, and an in-person portion. Obviously, you can't get your certification online, but you can do all the "knowledge" parts of the course - in the evenings, at night, or on your lunch break.

Then when you're done the online bits, you just schedule a time for your in-person practical training, at the nearest Academy. If you're in or near Regina, then that's pretty close by. It's not quite in Regina, but it's only as far as Emerald Park - so you're only a few minutes away.

During the practical training portion, you get to do all the fun stuff, like working with all of the medical aesthetic tools, using them on real people, and getting real experience in all these techniques. In just a week or two, they'll get you ready to perform laser hair and tattoo removal, dermaplaning, microblading, acne treatments, and a whole lot more.

Now, unfortunately, here's the good and the bad news...

The good news is, when you complete the Basic course, which only takes a few months, you're good to go. That's everything you need to get a job in a local clinic, or to start your own business.

The bad news is, it won't include certification in Cool Sculpting - because they do offer it, but only in the Advanced or Master level courses. So you might be wondering, why did I mention it?

Obviously, because those courses aren't that far away, or hard to do. In fact, you can enroll in the Advanced course as soon as you finish the Basic course, and you could probably complete both programs in several months if you try hard.

There's another option though - if you're in it to win it. You could say, "Heck those Basic courses, enroll me in the Master-level training!"

You don't have to use those words - but you can skip both the Basic and Advanced courses, because the Master level course contains all the same stuff, plus a bunch more. It's like a fast track to your Master of Medical Aesthetics certification, all in one course, and it includes everything except injectable cosmetics.

The Dermysk Academy teaches that too, of course, but you have to be a licensed nurse or physician to enroll in those classes, so we'll talk about them another time maybe.

It really comes down to one thing anyways: Are you ready to upgrade your career?

If so, the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy may be just what you're looking for - and it's not just you. They have 4 locations across Canada, and all of them are loaded with amazing reviews on Google, that you can see for yourself.

Here's the most recent review, at the time I'm writing this, "I had such a wonderful experience learning at Dermysk. Sorena is truly a wealth of knowledge and manages to teach in such a professional, yet fun way. I left feeling confident and prepared for this next chapter of my medical aesthetics career."

There you have it.

When you're ready to start the next chapter of your life - all you have to do is enroll.
