Concordia University Chicago is hosting a webinar series with proven strategies to get you back in the game and ready to play.

The university has announced a new webinar series called Return to Play: Strategies for Athletes to Retrain and Recondition Without Injury. The series will be hosted in partnership with Concordia University St. Paul and St. Francis College Brooklyn.

This announcement will help you access expert guidance on how to safely return to sport after the pandemic. The webinar series will take place on Thursdays from July 15 to August 19, 2021. Individual webinars will be available on-demand after the live events.

Concordia University of Chicago, Concordia University St. Paul and St. Francis College Brooklyn are among the leading universities in sport and exercise science in the United States. The new webinar series will include talks given by faculty, students and alumni from these institutions. Speakers include experts on topics such as athletic training and conditioning, high performance coaching and nutrition.

The Return to Play webinar series will teach you scientific, research-based strategies to return to your pre-pandemic performance. The lectures will discuss testing for body recomposition, goal setting for retraining, reconditioning for competition, and more.

The webinar will place particular emphasis on how you can avoid injury when returning to sport after living a sedentary lifestyle during the pandemic. The series also includes a roundtable called Nutrition Strategies to Reduce Injuries and Facilitate Healing.

Other Return to Play webinars will also cover the importance of movement for an aging population and paying attention to sports psychology while getting back into shape. If you're new to sport, these lectures can give you helpful tips and encouragement while you start a new fitness routine.
