Become A Certified Medical Aesthetician In Montreal With No Prior Experience

Jun 25, 2023

Are you ready to upgrade from a job to a career? Then call the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) in Montreal, and book yourself in, because they can help you to get fully trained, certified, and ready to go, in just a few months.

Do you remember the old Cinderella movie, and how the fairy godmother managed to work absolute magic (okay, yes, I know she was a fairy) to turn Cinderella into a practical princess, in just a few moments?

Well, that's not real. Sorry. But! But, what if you could be kind of like that fairy godmother... except for the fairy part... and the magic... but you could wear wings if you want I guess?

I'm getting sidetracked - wouldn't it be super cool if you could help people go from Cinderella with the hidden beauty, to Cinderella at the ball - just by helping them to unlock what's hidden inside?

That's kind of what a medical aesthetician does - they use lasers and other cool tools, instead of a magic wand, but you can still wave it around for effect. What I'm trying to point out though, is simple: becoming fully certified as a medical aesthetician could be a lot easier and faster than you might think.

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has several training programs for students in Montreal and the surrounding area, which let you complete your certification in up to a dozen popular medical aesthetic treatments, with no previous qualifications.

Just like Cinderella, no previous princess experience is required. If that sounds like something you're interested in, check out their nearest Academy location at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

So how does it work, if there's no fairy godmother to wave a wand around?

Well, you start your fairy godmo.. I mean medical aesthetics training, online. The Dermysk Academy put everything that you need to learn into a collection of online modules that you can work on from anywhere with an internet connection. How long it takes to complete them is up to you, but many students can finish up in just a few months, and that includes the practical, hands-on training.

When you're done with the online work, that's when you get to the fun part, which happens at any of the four Dermysk Academy locations across Canada. Unfortunately, this part can't be done online though, so you will have to spend one or two weeks attending daily classes.

During this portion, you'll get real-world training, in a real-world setting.

This is what makes the Dermysk Academy really shine, because they set up their medspa clinics, next to their medspa training facilities, so that once you get a bit of practice you can get experience with real tools, on real people - while being carefully supervised of course.

We wouldn't want you to flick your wand the wrong way and accidentally turn someone into a toad...

There is one really big decision that you need to make though before you start - and it will make a big difference in how your career plays out, at least for the first few years.

That's because as a new student with no experience, you have two options, Basic or Master-level training.

In the Basic course, you'll learn everything required to begin a career in the industry and will receive certification in up to a dozen popular procedures, such as micro-blading, acne treatments, and laser hair removal. It's a good way to get a quick start in the industry, but you won't get certified in some of the coolest procedures unless you return to upgrade your skills.

So how does that work?

After graduating from the Basic course, you can return at any time to upgrade your skills with the Advanced course, which is also accessible to anyone with at least 5 years of industry experience. In the Advanced training, you'll learn more complex techniques, such as PRP procedures, as well as individualized business strategies that have been proven effective for medspa clinics.

Now, don't take this the wrong way, fairy godmothers are cool and all - but I don't think they can work the same kind of magic that Cool Sculpting can. In my opinion, this puts you at least one step above fairy godmother.

If you've been paying attention though, you'll know I also said there was another choice. It's the ultimate option if you're dedicated to a new career in medical aesthetics, but it's not for the faint of heart.

If you're brave enough, you can enroll directly in the Master-level training first, to complete all the training provided at both Basic and Advanced levels, in a single course. This program also includes exclusive training not available in the other programs, and when you graduate, you'll get the ultra-rare Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate, which not a lot of people in this industry have.

Of course, if you really want to work some magic, the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy also teaches advanced courses in injectable cosmetics. Unfortunately, these programs are only available for licensed nurses and physicians - and you can't get those degrees by waving a wand, that's for sure.

That's okay though, with their easy online courses and in-person practical training, you can certainly get a fast start in the medical aesthetics industry. It's not quite magic, but the results may often feel like they are.
