The content creation company has announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to help cover the development and publishing costs of their new Weekend Warriors golf webcomic. As part of the campaign, they are giving you six different reward levels to choose from all with exclusive perks and golf-related swag. The objective of the campaign is to raise USD 12,720, most of which will go towards prototyping, production, and fulfillment.

What Is The Webcomic About?
Birdie Robot Golf created its Weekend Warriors webcomic as a way of bringing the worlds of cartoon and golf together into one funny and entertaining platform. “The story revolves around Godolfo ‘Godo’ Golpher, a brilliant engineer who always overthinks his actions when playing golf,” explained a spokesperson for the company. “We follow Godo's efforts both on and off the golf course as he tries to get a handle on his swing and his multiple triple bogeys that are killing his scores.”
What Is The Plan For The Comic?
The comics will be written by Birdie Robot Golf’s team and illustrated by expert artist CZero. They plan to release a first story arc of 100 webcomics (50 in black-and-white and 50 in full-color) starting immediately after the conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign. While most of the storyboarding and artwork have been completed, Birdie Robot Golf is struggling to overcome a few final hurdles, which is why they are seeking your support.
What Are The Reward Levels?
The entry-level reward package gets you a mention on Birdie Robot Golf’s Founder’s Wall. After this level are the Par, Birdie, Eagle, Albatross, and Hole-in-One packages, which — in addition to a mention on the Founder's Wall — include things like autographed character posters, hats, shirts, golf balls, divot tools, ball markers, and much more.
If you wish to enhance your chosen package, Birdie Robot Golf has a bunch of add-ons for you to consider, including exclusive Founder's Edition hats and shirts. These items can be added to any rewards package from the Founder's Wall Mention level upwards.
All backers of the webcomic also gain admittance to the Weekend Warriors Golf Association, a group of cartoon and golf enthusiasts founded by Birdie Robot Golf. Group members get invites to special events, entries into BRG giveaways, and early access to merchandise drops.
