Delice & Sarrasin is pleased to be serving you a new selection of gourmet plant-based dishes that capture the tastes and textures of both high-end and traditional French cuisine, made using purely vegan ingredients. As spring finally arrives in New York City, they are embracing a lighter palate with their seasonal menu and bringing you new appetizers, main courses and desserts, as well as new flavors of their unique sweet and savory buckwheat crepes.
As a farm-to-table restaurant with both an ethical and environmental ethos, they celebrate the changing of seasons by highlighting fresh, seasonal and local produce and wild food.
New dishes that will bring you the feeling of spring include their gourmet Tournedos Rossini, which features a delicious and tender vegan ‘steak’ fillet topped with plant-based ‘foie gras’, served with seasonal spring asparagus and a truffle wine-infused sauce.
Seasonal organic spring carrots also become an elevated experience in the French bistro’s new Velouté de Carotte, a rich and flavorful carrot soup made with pink lentils and vegan garlic butter.

Delice & Sarrasin is a family-owned and run restaurant that is dedicated to transforming iconic traditional French dishes into completely plant-based creations. The kitchen team, under Head Chef Yvette Caron, who was trained in Provence in the South of France, embraces culinary innovation and is proud to create a unique vegan fine dining experience for you.
As a recent write-up on Thrillist—which named the restaurant among its 21 best vegan and vegetarian restaurants in NYC—said, “Traditional French cuisine relies heavily on animal products, making Delice & Sarrasin such an important player in the city’s culinary scene. The entirely vegan restaurant serves all sorts of dishes out of a charming Christopher Street space that could very well pass for a Parisian cafe. They’ve mastered brunch—crepes, waffles, French toast, salads—but their vegan renditions of steak tartare, escargot, scallops, coq au vin, and the like give animal-averse eaters a rare chance to truly experience French cooking.”
Delice & Sarrasin is open for brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Make your reservation at https://delicesarrasin.com/contact-us
