TTEC To Open New Office In Mohali’s Quark City, Reducing High Unemployment Rates

May 16, 2025

TTEC is furthering the growth of Mohali, Punjab’s planned city and newly slated regional IT hub, with plans to open a new office in Quark Inc.’s Quark City.

With existing offices in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, TTEC has been cemented as a business process outsourcing (BPO) and customer service and experience leader in India. Now, with the announcement of their new office, which will be opening soon in Quark City, Mohali, TTEC is seeking to expand their reach in one of India’s most dynamic new cities and to facilitate the growth of this developing region.

Following the lead of Denver’s automated software specialists, Quark Inc., and a growing number of tech and telecommunications companies like Vodafone, TTEC is currently recruiting for a much larger workforce in the region and is investing significantly in the city's ongoing development.

With one established office and another being constructed, the BPO is recruiting for both entry-level roles, especially for English-speaking Customer Service Representatives, as well as for more specialized positions.

By establishing such a large new base in Quark City and Mohali, TTEC hopes to cement the planned city’s attractiveness for other outsourcing companies beyond just the tech and telecommunications sectors, as—despite the fact that the Times of India touted Mohali as the country’s next big IT hub back in 2018—the city’s economy still remains largely manufacturing-based.

With bigger cities like Mumbai already well covered by international businesses, TTEC encourages BPOs like theirs, with a strong presence in India, to diversify their bases and to look to planned new cities like Mohali for new sites of expansion. They especially recommend investment in Punjab, where low industrial development and high unemployment have seen the region regress in recent years.

In addition to creating new job opportunities, TTEC is committed to offering jobs driven by employee value propositions or EVPs, theirs being: shared purpose, personal growth, deeper connections, well-being, agile flexibility, engaging environment and ‘your voice’.

In other words, TTEC is committed to providing a place to work where local employees are genuinely supported and valued, where they are remunerated competitively, where their work-life balance is encouraged, where they are given opportunities to learn, develop and grow, and where they can build community.

TTEC India has been consistently named a certified Great Place to Work® as well as one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia.

Applications for new Customer Service Representative roles in their Mohali office are now open.
