The centre's relining services can be completed within one day. Clients can come in for an early appointment around 8 to 8:30 am and pick up the finished dentures around 2 pm. Adding fresh acrylic to a new impression of the mouth makes for a tighter, more comfortable fit. Some denture wearers may opt for a soft liner typically added to the lower denture for extra cushion and support.
Other options include a tissue conditioner - a temporary reline procedure that assists the healing process after an immediate placement. The denture is refitted in response to gum shrinkage after extractions. This takes just one hour to complete and can be performed chair-side.
