Anyway - there are 7 online training modules, which walk you through important info like the legal requirements to run or work in a MedSpa, hygiene guidelines, and the science or biology behind how each treatment works. It's during the hands-on training that things start to get exciting, because while you may start off working with "simulated" clients, it won't be long before you're practicing on real humans. In just the Basic training, you can get about a dozen certifications, for techniques like IPL hair and tattoo removal, professional acne treatments, and fractional ablation.
