Stamford Land Surveyors Redniss & Mead provided land surveys and civil engineering for 648 Unit Apartments with 11 buildings. The 4.3 acre property had been referred to as the “hole In The Ground” for 50 years.
Redniss & Mead Land Surveyors & Engineers provided the land surveying, planning and civil engineering for a development project that was recently featured in the Stamford Advocate article "Former ‘Hole in the Ground’ Now Boasts Luxury Apartments." The project brings to an end the infamous "hole in the ground" that concerned many local Stamford area residents.
For the last 50 years, locals referred to the vacant lot in downtown Stamford as The Hole in the Ground. Now in its place stand new luxury apartments for residents who appreciate environmentally-friendly features such as natural bamboo trees and mobile-controlled apps for air conditioning, heating and lights.
Redniss & Mead assisted the developer, Ironstate Development Co., with land surveys, planning & civil engineering on the 4.3 acre parcel. It will soon be home to 648 apartments within 11 architectural unique buildings surrounding a two-acre outdoor community and amenity space.
The new development is bringing beauty to a once unsightly area. A spokesperson for Redniss & Mead Land Surveyors & Engineers, says "Redniss & Mead were proud to assist the developer with the Stamford URBY project. It's an innovative development that will further enhance the beauty of downtown"
