Since 2010, the team at Medicare Supplement Insurance has been serving clients with Medicare Supplement Insurance, Medicare Advantage Health Plans, and Part D Insurance Plans.

One of the things that sets the agent apart is that it has always taken a consultive approach to its services. The new report comes as part of this commitment to clients.

The agency is known for carefully listening to its clients questions. This is a key part of their service, because they represent multiple carries, so can offer each individual the best options to suit their needs.

Now, with the upcoming changes to Medicare, the new report has been launched to answer questions and alleviate concerns. It highlights that those who will be impacted by the changes are all newly eligible beneficiaries on or after January 1, 2020.

These beneficiaries will no longer be able to purchase Medigap Plan C and Medigap Plan F policies. This does not apply to individuals who currently have Medicare Part A and Part B coverage, or to individuals who are due disability or ESRD.

The report explains that Medicare is changing because decision makers believe the changes to Medicare will limit the overuse of services provided. In turn, this will help Medicare to save money and remain solvent.

Medigap Plan C and Plan F provide first dollar coverage for Original Medicare Part B, which eliminates deductibles for Part B policy holders. The Part B deductible, which is $185 in 2019, is different than the standard Medicare Part B premium, which is $135.50 per month in 2019.

Eligible beneficiaries must be enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B to obtain and maintain a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage Health Plan. Please be advised a Medicare Supplement should not be confused with Medicare Advantage Health Plan.

The report then moves on to showing the alternative solutions for new beneficiaries. These include Plan G options and Plan N options.
