Some of my clients come to me when they are struggling, and some come to me to overcome a plateau and level up their lives and maximise their career potential. A recent case study highlights one woman’s story in which she wanted to reach a sales target and achieve more in her career but couldn’t make it happen.
Fanny was frustrated and wanted to eliminate difficulties reaching sales targets. She’d been a top salesperson for some time but wanted to be the best. She set a very bold goal: to be the top seller at her company and to break the annual sales record. She was setting goals no one had broken before. But Fanny kept hitting a wall, unable to increase her sales beyond a specific number.
This can be a problem a lot of people face - they may have been able to achieve a certain level of success but seem to hit a ceiling that keeps them from going beyond it. It can be extremely frustrating for people who are used to achieving.
The problem for clients like Fanny is in their beliefs. They haven’t cultivated the confidence to believe that they can go beyond what seems like an unrealistic number. They must remove doubt that they can achieve that new number and replace it with confidence and the belief that achieving that number is possible for them.
