Holistic Natural Ayurvedic Medicine In Mississauga, ON Strengthens Immune System

Sep 23, 2021

Santhigram Kerala Ayurveda (647-477-8283) is one of the leading centres for Ayurvedic medicine in Mississauga, ON. Using natural therapies, patients are guided towards wellness through a thorough understanding of their doshas.

What if we told you that everything, from how you look to what you like to eat, was dependent on your humours? And no, we’re not talking about how funny you are (though we’re sure you are) – but in how it originally meant as the combination of elements that make you, you.

So, if you can’t put on weight no matter how much you eat, or if even looking at a cookie makes you gain weight, then that may be because of your unique constitution.

Succinctly titled, “Everything You Need To Know About Santhigram Ayurveda”, our new report discusses the holistic benefits of Ayurveda and how anyone, regardless of age, can improve their immune system through natural healing.

Our newly released report explains that the natural medicine system is reliant on dosha determination. Ayurveda focuses on whole-body healing by balancing the five elements found in every person.

These elements are differentiated as aakash (space), jala (water), prithvi (earth), teja (fire), and vayu (air). Every person has a unique ratio of doshas, dhatu and malas with the combination of each element resulting in three humours known as vata, kapha, and pitta.

Understanding your doshas, and consequently, your humour, helps us determine your prognosis. A customized plan is then made to reinvigorate the elements and make you feel more energized.

Humours explain the physical, emotional, mental, and behavioural characteristics of each patient. For example, those with the vata dosha are usually thin, sensitive to cold, and are more vulnerable to digestive issues and gas.

On the other hand, kapha dosha are usually strong and compact but are at higher risk of heart disease and depression.

People with Pitta dosha are usually muscular and athletic, but can suffer from mood swings and are sensitive to heat.

In our report, we at Santhigram Kerala Ayurveda explain that because each person’s Ayurvedic constitution is different, so too should be their therapies. We invite you to schedule an online consultation with our Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Trupti Gaikwad.

During the consultation, Dr. Trupti will first assess your health by understanding your history and asking questions on your temperament, attitude, tendency for sickness, and lifestyle. Then, she will recommend Ayurvedic therapies, including dietary recommendations, to strengthen your immune system.

The best part? You don’t need to be sick to benefit from Ayurvedic therapy. The consultation can also be used to help you learn more about yourself and maintain your health.

We offer natural remedies and therapies to make you the best version of yourself.
