The Limehouse Lamp Company is one of the main period lighting manufacturers in the world, known for the fine traditional pieces it provides the general public and well known institutions like the Harry Potter World or Disneyland.

Now, the famous lighting company, that started back in 1971 faithfully recreating the original antique lamps from their Victorian pub premises in the East End of London, has launched a new range of handcrafted lights inspired by some of the greatest 20th century inventors.

This new collection includes flush ceiling lights, small wall lights and one, two, three or five light pendants for the ceiling, all inspired by Thomas Edison and finished with antique brass or polished nickel.

And it features elegant twin wall lights, chic five light clusters and adjustable wall and ceiling lights with a flexi rod brass that twists, turns and holds any position, inspired by Guglielmo Marconi and Alexander Graham Bell.

These lights are all designed and handmade by a skilled team of craftsmen, who have done lights for the Harry Potter World in Orlando and Hollywood, Disney’s new Shanghai Theme Park, the James Bond apartment in Spectre and Heritage Projects like the Hampton Court.

Their idea was to honor some of the great inventors and genuinely recreate the sense of warmth, history and timeless elegance most of the original vintage lighting from the early to mid-20th century conveyed.

They are all available along with a huge collection of other indoor and outdoor period wall lights, traditional lanterns and replica antique lamps out its head offices in the Sussex South Downs of England or at their new location on Forsyth Commerce Rd., in Orlando, Florida.
