"Health 1st is excited to be offering more comprehensive services to the Triad by bringing medical care to those looking for a whole body approach to health care. At Health 1st, we take pride in finding ways to help a person live healthier by addressing the body as a whole. With healthcare becoming so "specialized" many people are looking for ways to address ALL their health concerns, rather than going from doctor to doctor or clinic to clinic. By adding Dr. Calogero and his medical expertise to our team of physicians, we know this will benefit our patients and be better for the community as well."

Among the new responsibilities Dr. Thomas Calogero, MD is excited about helping those people who are in need of a primary care physician. People are often looking for a doctor due to changes in their job, insurance changes or a variety of other reasons. He will also be spear-heading the introduction of stem cell regeneration therapy for people with knee or shoulder issues. This exciting therapy is often recommended for people who are not good surgical candidates or just don't want to have surgery for their issues. This breakthrough therapy has been offered in clinics throughout the state, but with the addition of Dr. Calogero, people living in the Triad will have a more central location and much more convenient access to this therapy. He will also be working closely with the other Health 1st clinics in directing care for Worker's Compensation injuries and assisting those involved in automobile accidents.
