Brisbane Ballroom Dancing Community Hub Announces 400 Dance Event Program

Carina, Brisbane dance collective 4 Ballroom Dance Co-op announced “WOW – Whats On Where” across Australia. The program aims to connect learners with competitive and inclusive individual or group events, creating opportunities for teachers and dance clubs.

Carina, Brisbane learn to dance collective 4 Ballroom Dance Co-op announced the launch of its nationwide Learn to Dance program. The program, titled "WOW - What's On Where" offers learners the opportunity to participate in more than 400 dance events across Australia.

The learn to dance and community ballroom dance initiative aims to bring learners, instructors, and dancers to inclusive events that feature partnered dancing and social sequenced dances. The program offers age-appropriate dance opportunities for participants of all ages and ability.

The program by 4 Ballroom Dance Co-op aims to connect students, teachers, and enthusiasts from across the country through dance events spanning multiple categories including competitive individual and partnered dance, group events, training sessions, scholarships to dance programs, and special inclusive events such as wheelchair dances.

The Brisbane partnered sequenced dance organisation also facilitates special inclusive events for patients suffering from dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and other illnesses. 4 Ballroom Dance Co-op focuses on making dance instruction and social dancing opportunities available in a welcoming, supportive, and non-threatening environment. The co-op runs inclusive programs for schools, clubs, communities, aged, and medically challenged.

According to a spokesperson for the Brisbane ballroom dancing community hub, "Positive reinforcement and encouragement are the cornerstones to helping new learners—irrespective of age or ability—gain knowledge and proficiency. The goal of this program is to make ballroom or sequenced dancing accessible to learners from anywhere in Australia."

4 Ballroom Dance Co-op is a community dance initiative organisation that spans the disciplines of competitive and social organised dance.
