Birds On The Brink Sanctuary Of Harlem GA To Showcase Animals & New Murals By Local Artists

Harlem, GA endangered species bird sanctuary Birds on the Brink Sanctuary has announced “Excite Your Curiosity!” a fun and learning event showcasing murals painted by local artists. The event features photo opportunities with the sanctuary’s birds and a parrot show by Feathered Friends Forever Rescue.

Harlem, GA endangered species bird sanctuary Birds on the Brink Sanctuary announced an upcoming event - "Excite Your Curiosity!"- showcasing exotic birds and artwork created by local artists and The Artisans Village Guild for the facility's retaining wall. The event is scheduled for Saturday, the 16th of February, between 3 PM and 6 PM.

The Harlem, GA bird conservation & art event will feature the work of several talented local artists such as Gail Vail, Marilyn Segal, Martha Moore and others who have painted 12 murals for the facility's 80-foot retaining wall. The murals are also the work of members of The Artisans Village Guild, a local visual arts community.

The indoor event at Highgate Estate and Gardens in Greensboro, GA will feature photo opportunities with some of the sanctuary's exotic endangered species. Animal rescue organization Feathered Friends Forever Rescue, home of Birds on the Brink Sanctuary, is scheduled to perform a parrot show as part of the event.

Birds on the Brink Sanctuary has partnered with Eatonton, GA education & training company Vizitech USA to showcase the wonders of birds and butterflies using the company's new holographic technologies. International mineralogists organization The Fluorescent Mineral Society will exhibit and educate visitors about the fluorescent and luminescent world of birds, butterflies, bees, and other creatures.

According to a spokesperson for the Harlem, GA bird sanctuary, "We welcome visitors of all ages to an afternoon of celebration, fun, and learning as we unveil the work of some of our talented local artists that benefit our sanctuary. The goal of this free event is to showcase the exquisite beauty and vulnerable status of the creatures in our care and to promote interest in saving endangered bird, animal, and insect species."
